May Goals

May Goals:

1. Prepare a monthly grocery budget and rotating menu which can go on the fridge – so I no longer despair about what to cook each night. Redo from April

2. Transfer music from CDs I do not want to keep and cannot sell to computer and put CDs in charity bag. Redo from April

3. Sell approx 1000 euros worth of goods on ebay – yes that is a big number, however I have a wardrobe full of worn once or not at all high end “high street” clothes (mainly UK).

If I can get my act together asap, and this should not be IF, but WHEN (starting next week) I can use this much needed money to pay some bills, buy my children new summer clothes and perhaps make better wardrobe choices for myself – based on my upcoming Friday fashion reflections.

When I can get rid of 50% of my unneeded and unworn little black dresses for example- I can hopefully fill a missing gap or two elsewhere in my wardrobe – though in complete honesty I hope to buy nothing for as long as possible. Ex-shopaholic and compulsive purchaser of cocktail dresses speaking here. I have the “inventory” (sadly) its just going to be a matter of photographing and listing…

4. A vague goal – however, keep decluttering in the apartment in general.
My sister is coming from Australia early June to stay for two months holiday (and be a wonderful help and companion for me). I need to make sure she has some space for herself (in my son´s room where the spare bed is) in the bedroom, wardrobe, hall cupboard and bathroom.

5. Take a photo of the cellar (storage area number 1 of 2) and work out a plan to deal with it. Take trash bags down there for one hour sessions and fling, fling, fling!!! Then take “after” photo :)

Here were April´s:

1. Prepare a monthly grocery budget and rotating menu which can go on the fridge – so I no longer despair about what to cook each night. NOT DONE
2. Replant herbs and seedlings (lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries) on balcony in pots- helps the budget to have these things “free” on the premises.
DONE :)
3. Transfer music from CDs I do not want to keep and cannot sell to computer and put CDs in charity bag.
NOT DONE
4. Put two to three more bags of clothes from storage out for charity collections.
DONE :)
5. Have a healthy baby ;)
DONE :)

April Goals

It was the last day of kindergarten today due to Easter holidays and Mr Four received a visit from the Easter Bunny and this gorgeous basket to take home that they had made earlier in the week with their teachers – yes, those are real feathers! They do such lovely crafts at kindergarten here, I would not have the patience to try and replicate them at home!

***********************************************************

Like so many of my fellow bloggers I have decided to start a Monthly Goal List- manageable and realistic being the key for me!

Here´s April´s:

1. Prepare a monthly grocery budget and rotating menu which can go on the fridge – so I no longer despair about what to cook each night.
2. Replant herbs and seedlings (lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries) on balcony in pots- helps the budget to have these things “free” on the premises.
3. Transfer music from CDs I do not want to keep and cannot sell to computer and put CDs in charity bag.
4. Put two to three more bags of clothes from storage out for charity collections.
5. Have a healthy baby ;)
