I´m So Vain….This Blog is About Me

The Jig is Up!

I almost never thought this day would come, however the puzzle is now complete. The grassy areas were absolute torture and I have been working on them on and off since I last posted. The sky was a piece of cake and I knocked it off today easily- funny as I thought the sky would be harder!

I was all for putting it back in the box, however Miss Seven would like to put it on her wall rolleyes.gif

I just googled some pages on gluing together jigsaw puzzles which were quite helpful and apparently Ravensburger make a special puzzle fixative with a little sponge on top that goes directly onto the puzzle surface!

Not sure how to get into onto the wall after that though….

Finished Cabinet

I have tidied up the cabinet, thrown out a few things and moved a lot of things to more appropriate places. I´m much happier with the result and hopefully it should stay that way.

…Some more of that blasted jigsaw (and yes, not finishing it is not an option).
My new small project is all the clutter that had accumulated on top of the kitchen cupboards. I took it all down first thing this morning and wiped all the grease off the top. I also took everything off the top of the fridge. Its all piled up in the kitchen at the moment waiting to either be tossed or relocated. Photos tomorrow!

And of course I am doing all this as a form of procrastination today. As a way of avoiding dealing with some very unpleasant financial paperwork…however I will give myself till the end of the week to come to terms with it.

Jigsaw Progress—sigh

Why am I wasting my time? It takes me to another mental zone I guess. And one of those rare times I actually have a chance of finishing something I start.

Holidays and Entertaining Friends…

…has taken its toll on my organising activities, but in an enjoyable way. Just keeping the house tidy with the kids home full time and cooking more meals than usual, has left no time to declutter. I must also confess that I have ended up getting engrossed in a 1000 piece jigsaw of a lion- an unnecessary distraction, however at the same time something for my mind and a bit of relaxation. My seven year old daughter was given it for her birthday, however it´s too hard for her. She comes over every now and again to see how I am going!

Tomorrow, though I am going to try and do something from my lists! I am not going to commit to anything in particular though :)
